I use DNG, mainly because I use ACR/ PSCS 1 as my RAW converter, and
it's not compatible with K10D PEF. If I switch to Lightroom, which
Godders input has tempted me to do, I would probably shoot PEF.

I have no first-hand experience with the lens in topic, but so far my
experience with mirror lens is they are mostly soft. Of course there are
differences, for example the f5.6/500 Rubinar is almost sharp (well
let's say it's sharp as the Canon kit lenses :D) and f8/500 Phoenix is
nowhere near
PEF to fit more on the card and convert to compressed DNG automagically
while importing to the computer.

Others will no dounbt have given you some advice but,
particularly for Prague, watch out for the cathedral if you
visit it. When I first went, this massive building had been
sitting for two weeks in minus25 degree temperatures. The
day before I arrived, it warmed up to about freezing.

I like the way you mounted the pigeon on the end of the mast. Is this
how you lured in for the picture? I know a pigeon racing fancier who
would cry to see that shot..they are supposed to be in the coop.
