I look forward to an immediate respose. I interpret that as, it is not the original engine, but a replacement and the car has since travelled 102,000 miles on that engine. Or it could also be a grammatical error, and is implying that the car has recently had a "new" engine and the total miles on the clock is 102,000. Check the odometer. > > > Best Regards, > Celisa > '99 328is > Lone Star Chapter > > Search the ARCHIVES:http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected] > > > __________________________________________________________________________ > In memory of Michel Potheau - friend, enthusiast, founder of the BMW CCA. > > UUC Motorwerks - BMW Performance Fine-tuning and home of the Ultimate > Short Shifter - accept no substitutes! > 908-874-9092 . http://www.uucmotorwerks.com ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 28 Nov 2004 03:09:29 -0500 From: "Rich Dorffer" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "BMW" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Cc: "Celisa" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subject: Re: New Engine 102,000 Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Unless the seller is on this list, don't you think this question would be best if it was asked directly to the seller, particularly if you are looking forward to "an immediate response" and want an accurate answer rather than a lot of speculation? The car could have more than the engine, therefore the 'new to the car' engine could have the 102,000 miles. Example: car with 152k, engine with 102k - Not so New / Newer New engine itself is always scary; most important is to find out who did it and the quality of their work; and what else was replaced with the engine. New paint...?
