Hello, its Peter here and welcome to Tuesdays Levy Letter. I hope your day is going well.
I mentioned briefly yesterday, about Blood Brothers and how fab the show was and the fact that on Saturday, Linda Nolan who was starring in the show, didnt actually appear and I said yesterday that the stand-in was really good. Well several people have written in to say that they agree. I now know that her name is Tracy Spencer. She did the show Saturday afternoon and evening because Linda Nolan had twisted her ankle or something similar on Friday. We also had a competition in the Levy Letter to win tickets to see Blood Brothers and I had one email this morning from Lucy Ash and she says What a superb show it was. Ive been lucky enough to have seen lots of shows in London, but this show certainly gives them a run for their money. So well done to the cast. And Lucy, many thanks for your email. Tonight Join me tonight at 6.30pm. As well as the days news, the small diminutive weather man is off this week on yet another holiday need I say more!! Lisa Gallagher will be here. And also East Yorkshires most famous interior designer, Linda Barker. Shell be joining me tonight as well. Balloon I was wondering if anyone has a balloon net, you know those nets that hold the balloons in before theyre set off for charity. Someones been in touch with me as they want to borrow one for a very good cause. If youve got one, or you know of someone whos got a balloon net a bit of a long shot, but get in touch with me at BBC Look North, Queens Court, Queens Gardens, Hull, HU1 3RH, or at [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sofa Not the red one in the studio, but everyone in the country! Britons are said to have left one billion pounds in loose change lying around the house and failing to put it in the bank is costing us £50 million pounds a year in lost interest. The worst offenders, according to this survey are 18 24 year olds. Theres an average of £51 under the sofa and lying around in drawers. So get looking! There could be some money there! Fraisthorpe I mentioned Fraisthorpe beach yesterday and Ive touched a nerve. Lots of people like me love Fraisthorpe and have emailed in. Just one from Vince and Nora, they say We love Fraisthorpe. We stay in the caravan site there. While were there, we love to watch the sand-yachting and the para-surfing. But we understand that the council are going to put a stop to it. Im not sure if thats true or not, but Vince and Nora thanks very much indeed for your little note. Sir Cliff Now I was talking about Sir Cliff Richard last week. Well lots of people have been in touch. Let me just read you a couple. This one from Barbara Keen Yes I am in the Cliff fan club and I am from Lincolnshire, although my son reckons I am the only member. Im so pleased that he is going to make more records. I did meet him once. We were on holiday in Jersey, having a meal in a small bistro when Cliff and four other men walked in and sat at the table next to us. It was my 60th birthday and it really made it a great occasion. Barbara thank you very much for that. Just one more from Janet Binns, who signs herself a self-confessed Cliff-freak! Im very glad that Sir Cliff is going to continue to make records. Ive been a fan of his for as long as hes being making records. I have every single one hes made on record and now every single CD as well. Now thats going some! There you are. Thank you very much indeed. Write If you want to drop me a line about any of these subjects or indeed anything else then you can get me straight away at [EMAIL PROTECTED] Well thats it from me for today.
