For sending a courier for further out, DTDC and others might be best, but

Last I used netflix on android was a while ago, but on ios at least, if
you have the adv turned on in the settings or turn audiodescription on for
any movie/tv show that has it, netflix will automaticly have the ADV turn
on next time you try to watch a movie/ tv show that has audio

a few more things may help some.
First, background app refresh, turn that off unless you really think you
need it.
Same goes for location services.
Hand off, continuity are 2 things you won't need if you don't have another
iphone and or a mac
Close the apps after you are done using them

I haven't used a bluetooth speaker myself at least not with my pc,but when
I have tried headphones with my Iphone, and from what I have read,
voiceover does take slightly longer than normal when doing it through
bluetooth headsets.
I am asuming same case would apply on the pc as well.
