Hello everyone,
Just received a request to think about how we can start storing data on users,
data consumers, providers, etc.. in the CMDB. At first glance, I noticed the
BMC_Person class which I could use... Obviously we already store more or less
the same data on CTM:people...But...
We
the DBA's went and moved (with a domain rename) the remote db. All
I had to do was update the local database view and Remedy did not have to
change at all.

I'm afraid not. AIE is a schedule based system and not trigger based. If you
need real time your only best bet would be to create a DB link and work your
way up from there.

Frex, that limit is there for a reason. Once you exceed about 8 indices,
performance increasingly suffers, especially on submits.

way of doing it.
Need to replace the company logo on the banner on a large number of forms.
Found a utility on support web which either removes/replaces the image in the
banner but bails
We need to develop a Java plugin for Remedy 6.3 ... I need to take a look
at how this works but only found a document on Java API for 7.1!!
Does anyone have a 6.3 guide?

you could try debugging using the tusc .. or is it the truss commnand in
Solaris?!?
Something like turss -f -a -d -e -r all -w all -o foo.err arsystem start
(check the man page)
