Hello, I notice that the demosaic packs are still being shown as being able to be optionally downloaded and used in the book. However, the developers have discontinued them, and now if you do a ./configure --help, they are not even listed as being able to be used by the program itself.

Hello, I have found that evince will not build this time around with the current book instructions. You need to use --disable-dvi, as for some reason they have not included some files in their tarball. Without passing the --disable-dvi to configure you are presented with the following error:
