Hello,
When I attempted to install libreoffice, I received the following error:

Hello,
The provided patch does not seem to have been created correctly. When you go
to apply it, it asks which file you wish to patch. I see that Bruce modified
it, so perhaps this could be checked and corrected?

Hello,
Late last year, it was reported that quemu failed to build due to missing
gnu/stubs-32.h, and it seems that the original poster never managed to get it
solved. I have now encountered the exact same error when building quemu 5.1.0.
I have managed to solve this issue, by editing:
Hello,
I notice that the demosaic packs are still being shown as being able to be
optionally downloaded and used in the book. However, the developers have
discontinued them, and now if you do a ./configure --help, they are not even
listed as being able to be used by the program itself.

Hello,
I am working through another installation, and have found that libsoup will not
compile against sysprof. The following error occurs:

I have just moved over to using lvm for my os installations, and now, when I
use either gparted or even blkid I can no longer see my 4th internal hard

Hello,
The added sed to dconf for meson 52 is WRONG, as it breaks the build of dconf
editor and also breaks the build of gnome-terminal. The correct solution at the
moment is to downgrade meson, and yet that solution has not been made here, as
Douglas alreay knows that this is the correct way

Hello,
I have found that evince will not build this time around with the current book
instructions. You need to use --disable-dvi, as for some reason they have not
included some files in their tarball.
Without passing the --disable-dvi to configure you are presented with the
following error:

best approach for this. I understand that it needs to happen at the
partitioning stage of installing lfs.
I was wondering if I
