If you press and hold the power button your SB will restart negating the need to pull the power out. I don't know of a way to have the older versions automatically re-connect. My SliMP3s have to be powered off by removing the power connector, although sometimes they don't seem to mind the server

I tried testing FF RW feature after a recent thread without first considering what was playing, which was Brian Eno and David Byrne, My Life In The Bush of Ghosts, and in the middle of song two I couldn't tell if I was going backward or forward, or even double speed or real time. Disoriented
