The i.mx6 can easily run Linuxcnc. The issues that you'll run into are the high cost of the i.mx6 boards and getting the GUI to run fast enough. Some i.mx6 quads are under $20ea, but the boards they end up on tend to be priced closer to $100. Well above the price of a new suitable x86 board.

If by 3D printed you mean FDM/FFF/GGG**, yes but it would not be nearly as smooth. You could use a composite filament for the main part of the cone and switch a urethane foam for the edges. This is way beyond DIY unless you are polymer chemist and can swap between using a hot melt extrusion

Closed mali GPU drivers, but you could run real time with preempt_rt on one core and use the other 3 cores for software rendering and non real time. We had Axis running at 1920 x 1080 smoothly. Moving the windows around would sometimes look choppy on the other 4 core Allwinner SOC's with software
