Save Preferences. I personally prefer to keep my
preferences in one known-good state instead of having Finale re-save
them every time I exit the program, but YMMV if you like to change the
preferences around a lot.

Are you selecting the measures before attempting to clear the chords?
Try using 'Select All' (command-A or ctrl-A) on the piece before
attempting to clear the chords.

of the bounds have to have an absolute value of 63? -64 to
64, with zero included as center, is 129 values. I've always seen it
as -63 to 64.

run APE, but ClearDock is the only Haxie I run in it. If there's
any other way to completely remove that annoying semi-transparent
rectangle behind the Dock icons I'll use that, though. Do you know of
any?
