I'm also in Australia and I haven't considered the Legacy Cloud in the
past as my upload speed was woeful so handling uploading to Dropbox
where I can have data backups that don't overwrite each other was my
priority. It took several minutes to do the upload to Dropbox.

I also have this problem and reported it to Legacy last October, I took it to a
local repair shop and they told me it was a Legacy problem, it is an
incompatibility with Windows it seems. I
I also had this problem and other companies blamed Legacy. The bottom
line, it was my Virus protection. If I disconnect the antivirus while I
back up to the cloud, it is supposed to handle the issue. However, I
didn't feel comfortable doing that. So I now back up my family files to a
Dropbox
I also have this problem and reported it to Legacy last October, I took it

That probably indicates that one or other “driver” program for your computer
hardware needs to be updated.
You will be able to see if that is the problem, using an inbuilt-Windows
utility, called Device Manager.
