The code won't activate until you switch away from it; that's the
actual point the author is making.
An excellent point... but, they way it happened to me was sort of like
getting stabbed in order to learn not to go down dark alleyways ;-)

I have identified an incorrectly spelled word and need
to remove it.
Would suggest that when the word is flagged as incorrect, select add

stop presenting the correctly spelled word as incorrect.

works fine... at least for sm 1.x, just enter the ip in the server
address field
If not, remember that it's also possible to create any name entry you
want entry in your hosts file.

Not sure how the message files are named on the mac, but in windows, the
files containing the messages don't have name extensions, so, searching
the mail folder using the file wildcard *. will hit only the files
containing messages.
