Here's an interesting thing though. In the properties
of my pc it says it's running Windows 10 build 10586. the current one is
14393.
Either i'm missing a lot of updates, or i'm not sure what. I guess
version numbers don't matter much these days.

strategy for adding a shortcut to Internet Explorer on the desktop in Windows

1. Open Start menu
2. Type in Internet Explorer

Great, I’m currently using windows 7 and don’t use a password. From what you
say, I can keep these same settings when I upgrade to windows 10.

if you do not use a password to login to Windows 7 and you upgrade to Windows
10 and you choose to keep all your personal files you will not be asked for a
password in Windows 10.

That is what I'm talking about. What do I do about a password when I setup
windows 10 for the first tine? It will ask for a password.
