I don't know what happened to your in box. And I don't know if all mail
servers work the same. But here's a potential problem with switching
from pop3 to iMap. If you didn't have "leave messages on server" set for
your pop3 account all messages are downloaded to your computer and then
deleted
Funny, I just noticed that one of my folders is gone. It's not a default
folder, but one that I ccreated for music business. Very strange. Not in the
recycle bine, either. Must be gremlins.

I use nero, and I have a version for xp if he wants it. Go to start,
then programs, then system tools. Arrow down a bit and you'll see
restore. I've never done thisk, so don't know how well or if it talks
well. you also might try sfc, that is system file checker, I forget the
command line

response about how to configure the program to display all your unread mail in
one folder view.
Indeed, this can be done by learning how to set up folder views by doing a
search for this topic on the web.
I had this happen, and the only way I could read it correctly is with QRead.
Sorry, that program costs $30 as I recall. AI Squared got the same results.
The originator of the file didn't know why it happened either.
