I suppose we could try changing the MIME type we report for these videos to video/mpeg, but that would be inaccurate. We do from time to time change our MIME settings (particularly to add new types, but also to change to more appropriate types) so that may explain why some videos have worked

Give that a shot. I'm sure the problem is with the ambigious mime type associated with Apple's newly invented file extension. The only reason I can fathom that you would want to create a .m4v is if you were using Apple's FairPlay DRM. But I'd guess you aren't. Yours, Mike Co-founder,
