Lots of talk about favorite and least favorite episodes, but let's try this for
a poll...What is your favorite disc from the TAGS DVD series? (I'm talking
about the complete season DVDs, not the 50th Anniversary DVD set or any of the
other one-offs.)

Here's the link to Jim's photo again...
Here is a bit of an unusual alumni siting...I live in Lincoln, home of the

I took a quick look at the video for One Punch Opie, and while there is a
character in that scene that resembles Rusty Stevens/Larry Mondello, I don't
see how it can be Rusty. Rusty was born in 1948, making him 6 years older than
Ron Howard. He would have been 14 at the time of One Punch
Skol seems entirely out of place in Mayberry, as I just don't picture there

Here's my take on how Mrs. Grayson found Floyd...once Floyd hatched his plan
and Andy agreed, he sent a telegram to Mrs. Grayson, giving her the address of

The story from Rance Howard in the e-Bullet about how Andy ended up with Taylor
as his last name, after first being called Andy Hopper in rehearsals for the
pilot got me to thinking. They ended up not using Hopper and missing out on a
joke in that episode but some six years later, the writers
There has been some confusion over whether Me-TV or other national networks can
show TAGS. Me-TV is a national network, just like TVLand. TVLand currently
has the exclusive national network rights to TAGS, so Me-TV, RTV, My-TV or
other national networks have no chance to pick up the series
I assume that Judd/Burt was in charge of the Mayberry Fire Department. After

I remember this mini-series. It is based on a novel, The Company, written by

Re the 2005 calendar, I'm a little confused...a couple of good folks said you
could use it for the first 59 days of 2012. Seems to me it's off (Luther, it

I don't have any insight on the change in Floyd's glasses, but I always thought
that the glasses contributed to the fact that Floyd looked much older when he
returned from his stroke (obviously his health also affected that older
appearance). I think the glasses really fit Floyd's

I believe they had Goober rip his suit so that he would end up borrowing Andy's
