Thanks for posting that list, being a newer member less than a year had not
saw it before. Should I have found it before and been aware it? I may have
done one or 2 of those things but will not be doing them again if I can
remember to not do so, I am affected with CRS on some days.
My two cents:
Filtering works with individual mail delivery, but not so good with the
digest format. Simply cutting extra dialog or repetitive content from one's
message will go a long way. I don't believe there is a need to include an
entire thread in every relative reply. Fellas..just snip
Nabble appears somewhat broken. It rarely sorts messages these days, even

For example, the last 8 K3 posts which were placed in the K3 subdirectory

I personally don't know how you manage to get new products to market as
quick as you do. Most of all when you do so many new ones so close together.
I know structure and size have a lot to do with it but you seem to have them

If you are referring to the KX3 driving the KPA500 (there are no dashes in
these product models) then- yes, many people do this. I get just almost
exactly 13 dB gain from the KPA500 when driven by the KX3.

The KPA500 here produces 13-14 dB gain on most bands. 13 dB is a factor
of 20, so 10 watts from the KX3 results in about 200 watts out to the
antenna system.

Tnx for the info, Dave. When I joined the list a few years ago, everything
went into its proper subfolder, and I just assumed it was an automated

As Elecraft products continue to grow in number and popularity, a single

I have used teflon tape (type for plumbing) for this. It is thin so a few turns
