Hi Jim. I've notice something like timing problems or part of the first
character being
chopped when CW AND PTT are set at the same time. If I only set either DTR or
RTS to key CW
and no PTT action it keys perfectly.

Hi,
When I use Logic 8 there is a nice feature where there is a DX Spot
log. This reflects on the air spots and evaluates
to using MM with a Parallels

I noticed the same problem sending CW to the K3 using my own software,

Noone is saying its not worth discussion. I simply stated its a problem with
the software, not
the radio. I wish there was a work around as I like the program. Though it
will soon be moot
here as I continue to migrate to Mac.

BTW...if you are going to use you computer for PSK...you need to have the K3
data
mode set to DATA-A and make sure your MIC SEL menu is set for Line-In.

Many contesters like to assert a manual PTT instead of having the radio do it
when sending CW.

Doing it this way was a bad move IMHO. I may just replace them connector with

Did you perform the TXG calibration process on all bands at exactly 5 and 50
watts? What are you doing when
taking the readings -- using the TUNE buttone (not ANT TUNE)?
