I think many of us must be unemployed, or at least underworked. I thought I
was wasting time on here, but Jim is a true artist! I commend you, sir.

That's in my McLaren F1 on my daily autobahn commute of course. ;-) You don't do
200mph on your way to work in the pouring rain?

Please forgive the early morning, pre-coffee brain fade.

I don't think your McLaren is going to cut it, even if you top it
out. You'll have to do something like 3600 mph to get those wheels turning
over a thousand times per second...At least the sonic booms will keep the
cops away!

That would be pretty cool, though - your daily commute could be from San
Francisco to New York. Pretty do-able, as long as you don't get stuck in
traffic around Kansas...

Take the Rowan G. Atkinson Midwestern Bypass, save ya some time and you can use
EZ-Pass.

You need one of those plastic alligator biting heads on a stick with the squeeze
handle to pay tolls with a McLaren F1.

I usually like to take the Tunnel - the sound that the quad-turbocharged
and double-supercharged McLaren makes when you hit the NOS while going
through the Midwest Tunnel at 3600 mph really wakes you up in the morning...

What, is no one going to start the "de-ionized water is better than
distilled water" thread again? It was so much fun over on the Yahoo E30

Oh, thank god, I was starting to think I had fabricated all those memories I
have of other people putting tap water in their pristine radiators. I'm not
alone!!!

No, they're from East L.A. Heck, I don't even know if the members of Los
Lobos drive BMWs, or what kind of water they put in their radiators.

Heck, you could just distill your own water. You could make enough in your
spare time to supply all your BMW CCA friends.

Uh-huh. He's been seen in these parts tanning himself in the beaches of Coronado and
catching a few waves; and fiber from the water. It's good for you.

> Reed asks "Tijuanitic rock? Is that, like, Los Lobos?"

Almost like Los Lobos but not quite. Los Lobos water is mineralized by dog thingies
and it's not as good as Seattle water.

And Ochi, my head is still spinning from all that revs you talked about. You're
beginning to sound like Deshpande. Except worse. He just states the facts, you on the
other hand emphasize it. ;-))))

I've got a headache now. I'll take a nap.

OBTW, I just got my first ever acceptance to a Driving School in April in
Buttonwillow. I am so happy! I need wheels and tires; good thing Marc has a beater set
available. I can't wait. I finally can get my car going faster than 45MPH!!!! And then
I can test the brakes and the radiator water at the same time. That is so cool! I'll
let you know the results when I get back.

Must be a slow day at work everywhere. Sheets of water on brakes, holes and mud, hard
water from balsamic rock. It's Armageddon I tell you. Get on your knees and repent!!!!

Subject: [uuc] Sparco strut bar on E36?
Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

I just searched the UUC archives for info on the Sparco front strut tower bar. LOTS of
stuff on E30 cars, but no mention of anyone putting this on an E36. The bar is
attractive because it is not hinged and not expensive. Pictures of it looks like it
has a huge arch designed in it though. Anyone with experience on this? I am comparing
to two $400 bars, the Strong Strut and the JTD, again two without hinges.

Thanks,

I pay $.59 per gallon, but I usually buy 3 gallons at a time - it's good
stuff to have around the house - 3 gallons brings it to roughly $2.

A friend of mine is interested in this car. Been trying to get him into the
BMW fold for awile but he needs a larger family car.

Anything anyone can tell me about the 750 series, good or bad, and

It's very low mileage and seems like a good deal.
