Let me sum up our positions as I see them (correct me if I'm wrong): Your saying that in any case NOT involving weapons any competent adult should be able to handle any five year old. I'm saying that regardless of weapons five year olds can (and do) become dangerously violent to themselves and others to the point that trained personal are sometimes required to restrain and calm them. (We can also leave out the definition of "weapons" here since I've been hit with a lot of things I never expected to get hit with. ;^) ) My point is that this specific case can't defend a position about ALL five-years (and ALL adults). My only gripe with your statements are their blanket application, not their applicability this particular case.
