What's the point? speaking as a former comptroller, it was never
necessary before and I don't think it's necessary now. If the three
comptrollers, who have very little to do as it is, can't even reach
agreement between themselves on what (if) something needs to be
done... than it probably doesn't need to be done. We don't need more
empty titles.

We've tried it, it doesn't work quite as well, we don't have enough
people running for the position as it is. Best to keep the board small
and offload most responsibility to willing volunteers.
