. Even more strange! Got up this morning, turned on the amp in the Master Bedroom and there was immediately music coming from my speakers. I have not yet reset anything and my Touch is on MYSB.com playing the 70's channel I tried to get it to play yesterday. I still have no control over anything directly on the Touch. I have a large commercial UPS since I retired from a major Telecommunications company and there was an older one they were just going to scrap. So once it was set out for pickup I took what I needed plus the house has a 20KW emergency generator. My router and modem and all SBs have not been turned off or without power in over 4 years. Wonder if my Router and Modem need updates as most auto updates only get installed after a power outage or rebooting them. I'll shut down everything tonight and boot fresh. But this doesn't make sense with my neighbor having similar issues. Please note, that I can not get to MYSB.com directly from ANY Squeezebox in my system. Nothing happens when I tap "Switch to MYSB.com" on any Touch nor if I use a remote or other method on the none touch screen devices. Just a single screen blink and the Donk error sound, but does not switch to MYSB.com. I might have asked this before: did you reboot _any_ component from the router to your SB? We did replace some machines recently, incl. load-balancers, which potentially can cause odd problems, if a device is stuck trying to connect to a non-existing service. Please note that there is not "the" connection to mysb.com. Your device might be using three independent service on independent connections. When I check LMS, the Touch is still connected to the Server. If in LMS I go to Extras, I can connect the Touch to MYSB.com but then can't do anything (I don't have any subscribed services and my neighbor is not using his Tidal account at his house while I am testing looking for a solution) so it will not play Tidal either. What I don't know is if that is because of the known Tidal issue he is having or MYSB.com is not really connected or because I can't navigate on MYSB.com. Question: Is there a known good free service or station I can try to connect to via MYSB.com? On the Touch that is now supposedly connected to MYSB.com, when I go to Settings/Advanced/Networking the "Switch to MYSB.com" is no longer there which should make sense if it is actually on MYSB.com. But on the Window that opens when I select Tidal, pick a song, press play, nothing audio wise happens. The Play Icon changes to a Pause Icon for about 15 seconds, then returns to a Play Icon, then about 5 seconds later the Touch turns off and displays the Time/Date. Anytime the Touch is awake, the Music Note symbol is in the upper right corner and if I tap it, it shows no Playlist but does show the last song I played while connected to LMS. Lastly once the Touch is switched to MYSB.com and on the Touch I go to APPS and touch Tidal, the end marker changes to a "Spinny" and never goes anywhere or does anything. I also noticed something about all of my Squeezeboxen as well as his, NONE of then will allow you to start or goto MYSB.com. There is no Tab or button anywhere for MYSB.com Are you suffering from the power-user syndrome? Did you try out so many parameters and settings you don't remember how you broke your LMS? :-D In particular: are you running LMS with the --nomysqueezebox parameter? Is there some setting on the LMS Server that would prevent a Touch, Transporter, Baby, or Boom from being able to go to MYSB.com? --nomysqueezebox. Did you restart all networking components in volved? In particular any device potentially acting as the DNS proxy? We did recently work on the infrastructure, incl. replacing load-balancers. Therefore IP addresses have changed. I understand how you're running this with multiple queries, but can you not increase the number of queries. So 20 queries with 50 item? I certainly could. But there are certain limitations: - processing 20 queries (1000 tracks!) will render the UX "sluggish" (I guess you'd live with that because you like the result :-)) - we're only allowed to do so many requests per time unit against TIDAL's servers. By running your 20 queries we might potentially lock out some other user. Once I click on MYSB.com it opens a web browser at MYSB.com, I select one of the Touch Players, and then select MYSB.com and that Player now shows Connected. When I go back to LMS, the Right panel the top drop down shows all my players but the one I just switched in the top box, then in the bottom box under the Title MYSB.com is the Touch I just switched. Now it gets even weirder, I can't do anything with the Touch that is on MYSB.com. Can't get to it from the LMS GUI (other then to switch it back to Local Server) and on the actual Touch, it will not do anything but move through menus. Now what? The only time I ever really used MYSB.com was during the FAB4 Beta (what would become the Touch) and that was minimally when asked to look at something or test something. On the left side of LMS Home page, there's an item "Extras", if you expand that, there's an option "Music Source" that allows you to connect to any LMS instance running on your network, this includes mysqueezebox.com. Can you connect from there? . Oh well, so much for thinking it was fixed. No sooner was I home and getting a glass of water then my neighbor called saying it was doing the same thing! We played a few single random songs while it was working and he then loaded up an Album as I was leaving. The Touch started playing the album getting through 6 songs before it stopped playing and generated the same old Error: Connection Reset By Local Host So now what? I also noticed something about all of my Squeezeboxen as well as his, NONE of then will allow you to start or goto MYSB.com. There is no Tab or button anywhere for MYSB.com plus when you goto Settings/Advanced/Networking/Switch to MYSB.com and press that line on the Touch, all it does is blink once and make the "don't do that" donking sound while not switching to MYSB.com. I went to the web and MYSB.com entered his username and password and it show there. Still nothing. Next went to LMS Settings/MYSB.com/Email & Password entered them and clicked on Apply. He is now able to listen to Tidal on his Touch. Needed pointed in the right direction. Any thoughts to get LMS to show ALL the favourites after the first 500?? There currently isn't any solution. Tidal wouldn't allow us to get more than 50 items in one request. Which means we have to run 10 queries for those 500 items already. Tidal can be streamed through the Logitech Tidal app or by adding it as a service in ickStream. There should not be any significant differences between the two - as I noted before I do see some differences in the playlists - ickSteam Tidal will often show tracks in the playlists that get skipped on playback. I've been using Tidal on my Squeezebox system for some time now, and I have noticed that playlists and albums often don't have all of the tracks that appear in the same playlists and albums on the Tidal website and in Tidal apps. Just yesterday I was going through some of my "favorite" tracks on Tidal to see if I could play them using LMS, and for some tracks that appeared on multiple albums, only one of them would play through LMS. Right now, however, Tidal seems to be working very well through LMS, with just about everything that I look for showing up and being playable! It's better than it's ever been. If any testing is needed, I'd be glad to help. By the way, people in this thread have compared Logitech Tidal to ickStream Tidal, and now I'm a little confused. I remember that when I first set up Tidal with LMS I did set up ickStream. Was that a plugin that is not listed on the Plugins tab in LMS settings? I seem to recall seeing an ickStream app on mysqueezebox.com, but I don't see one there now. Anyway, I had to do a clean installation of Windows on a new hard drive, and LMS was one of the many things I had to reinstall. Tidal continued to work for me, so was I somehow seamlessly migrated from ickStream Tidal to Logitech Tidal? Are there any significant differences between the two? I finally installed version 7.9 (previously I was using 7.7.5, since that is what's on the mysqueezebox.com site) recently, and the improvements are fantastic. This system was so far ahead of its time. I wish Logitech would bring back a Squeezebox line of devices. I never even knew it existed until I started looking around for something I vaguely imagined an "Internet radio" would be. In ickStream Tidal scroll to Genres/Rock/Playlists/Lessons in Prog Rock. It managed to stream the first song, skipped the second song completely, plays the third, streams part of the fourth, etc. Ok, I can reproduce this. I only get 7 out of 62 tracks... On second attempt this list would fully load, but some tracks would throw that "asset not ready" error. Much to my surprise I got it on some tracks which did show up and play in the first attempt. OK, I do get an unauthorized access error for these tracks. I wonder whether Tidal's API returns tracks that are unavailable in some regions/countries here. No luck with track id's using the Tidal app in Logitech Media Server. When I click on the track title all I get is "Tidal Error" on the left hand info panel. When Tidal was working properly I know I could see those id's in LMS. You can try this album: High Top Mountain by Sturgill Simpson. The other streaming content on Tidal seems to work fine. I am running an older version of Logitech Media Server (7.7.5) in Windows 10 and it has worked perfectly until now. I get the same behavior using the Tidal app or running Tidal as a service with ickStream. The last feew days I have the same error message as mentioned here when using Tidal, for either full albums, or some track of my playlists. All has been OK since "forever", and this just started to happen a few days ago. I have not changed anything on my setup of LMS for the last 2 months or so. Rgds. Using LMS-7.9.0~1476850390 on Ubuntu 14.04 and multiple "Boom" and
"receiver" instances
Using the "Tidal" plugin v1.2, logging in using my "Tidal Premium"
account that is part of my mobile subscription, I can play some songs,
but not most songs. The very same songs play just fine on my mobile app,
logged in using the same account.
An example album: "En Håndfuld Danske", by artist "Tina Dickow", where
only the last 2 songs play on LMS, the first three report this in the
server.log:

using the same wifi.
DNS is through local "bind9" setup using with forwarders {
91.239.100.100 ; 89.233.43.71 ; 8.8.8.8 ; 8.8.4.4 ; };
By logging the requests, I can see that LMS requests
audio-pop.tidal.com, and gets "CNAMEaudio-pop.tidal.com.akamaized.net."
which has more than one set of addresses.

I suspect this is not going to help too much - i put Tidal logging at 'Debug' level .. tried to open couple of Playlists (in the left hand side in the browser). Some loaded completely and some barely (like 10% of the tracks). Log does not change/show anything new when clicking on any playlists. Only information that does show up is when i actually play (either whatever has loaded from the playlist ) and that you will see at the very bottom. I am streaming flac files. I think it is som kind of cahcing problem. As said. When I have the problem, then I switch to Tidal through Ichstream, which then says "no content available". Then I go back to the official plugin, and the the playlist is completely loaded.. Strange. I think I saw a similar problem yesterday. What was particularly obvious was that as I wanted to select the menu, it took a long time, probably even timed out and would not have been entered at all. I then navigated back to the previous menu and then tried again. This time the response was quick but incomplete. If i use Tidal app or Roon it loads entire playlist. At the sametime I think after Squeezebox plugin 'pulls' the playlist (same thing happens with some albums) - it caches it. So trying to do it 'again' or reloading frame does not help. I just reproduced it with - go to Tidal on web interface, click on Moods then Charts then pick 'Tracks of the Year 2015'. It has 115 tracks. Plugin loads only 13. I am expericing something like that too. When I select a playlist from my favorite playlists in Tidal, then it sometimes only picks a few tracks. A workarround is to select Tidal from Ickstream plugin(always says "no content available). Then go back to the official plugin and select the playlist again. Then it normally loads the entire playlist. Don't no if this helps you. I am in region Denmark. Just when I wanted to disable the rather chatty Tidal logging on our end this issue is coming up again :-). Maybe I can finally take advantage of the logging. maybe i didn't explain clearly what the issue is. Tidal streams music just fine with the regular plugin. no stuttering or any other issues. Issue is loading playlists and/or favourites if they are long. E.g. some public playlists (e.g. "Computer Audiophile 100" or "Gente De Zona's Playlist") load small subset of songs when i click on playlist. E.g. one with 100songs loads only 12. The one with 30 only 5. I do not have that issue when using Tidal on PC or iPad nor when using Roon. As I said: this could be some geo-fencing playing games (or our implementation not dealing correctly with it): those playlist tracks could be available in one country but not the other. That really depends on every single track. There usually are alternatives of the same track but with different availability information. Maybe that's what I should look into. In the past (3-4-5 months ago) i also had 'ickStream' setup for Tidal, and though it seems slower in loading actual songs/streaming it worked flawlessly in loading playlists from Tidal whereas this problem with basic Tidal plugin was happening back then as well.
