This is capitalism in its finest form. Cambium just upped the bar substantially. The market had a very serious issue, and they solved it, while still generating substantial revenue. Im curious what their profit per hardware unit sold is compared to the profit per license, with no real liability.

No, they're saying the FCC certification is dependent on the hardware, so as long as it originally supported DFS frequencies it will with the ePMP software. Not sure how that works with the whole UBNT sticker mess, but I'm guessing that it's probably just going to treat them all as being unlocked,

If you're thinking about buying a pre terminated LC or SC connectorized cable and pulling it through a conduit, DON'T. Buy one singlemode, MTP terminated cable and plug it into an MTP cassette/module on both ends.
