Yeah, it does say somethat that all of the competing products (ESS,
ExpertDesk, Kinetic, Entuition, etc.) use tons less workflow to accomplish
the same thing that ITSM does. Not saying that any of those are better or
worse, just more tightly architected.

But I forgot to switch back to remedy before doing install.
Did you make sure there were no remedy processes running as root before
you tried to start the system up from user remedy?
The shutdown failed messages seem to suggest that Monitor and ServerD
were still running as root when you tried to restart.

As Fred suggested, I had a set of ar processes still running as root, that
remedy didn't have permission to kill. When I logged in as root and killed
them then remedy was able to restart the system. Also the log files are now
owned by remedy.

After doing change, see again in web service object- GoTo WSDL- click
view and then see removed elements should not be therein WSDL. If you
are seeing any old image of WSDL in that case cache should be removed
properly.
