IOS is gradually beginning to open more and more of the system to developers. I was firmly against this in the beginning, but it does have its uses. I hope they will eventually open enough to allow changes to the UI sounds.

I doubt it will ever come to IOS for one simple reason. It would require customization and a level of access to the OS's root that Apple doesn't want people to have.

@jack thanks I thought so but was not 100% sure.@Orko make sure that the app on your phone has permission to use the mic, and make sure that the mic on the max is not muted. If that doesn't work maybe try clearing the current voice profile.

I had to do a master reset, then set it up all over again, but I got it working, for now. Tomorrow I will unplug it for an hour, then plug it back in. If it loses its settings again, it's going back, whether for replacement or a refund I haven't yet

You might want to contact Humanware about the Bluetooth issue. I have no idea what they're using, but it must be some really weird proprietary radio or protocol if it won't communicate with the Google Max or other Bluetooth headphones and speakers

@Orko you wouldn't need an SD card if you have songs on your phone you can just play them on Google Home with bluetooth. Works with iPod touch and other devices with bluetooth.

For the Google Play account you also get Youtube Red as well. I think its like $12 a month that I'm paying for it. Google Home also works with Spotify and Pandora. I'm loving my Google Home too! You can ask it to play podcasts news from all sorts
