In your case, it probably deleted the Eloquence files for both JAWS and NVDA.I'm sorry to laugh, I know it's not funny, it just struck me because I've had to learn the lesson about being aggressive with Revo myself.Now, I just do it's standard level scanning, but if I feel the need for some aggressiveness, I manually step through all the files and registry entries it wants to delete before letting it proceed. It was rather hit and miss whether the uninstaller removed stuff or not. Some things I expected not to be removed by the installer because it didn't create them, they were made by the program itself, but there were plenty of things the installer should have removed but didn't. Re: free sapi5 eloquence I just tried playing Spoonbill Software's Uno, it started but with the speaking rate running very fast despite that I lowered the rate setting in the control panel. Then I tried reducing the speaking rate with the F8 key while in Uno and it hung the game.So, I'm uninstalling this is non functional and going back to code Factory's version. It doesn't matter when this version was created, Nuance acquired it from somebody, who either was the original developer, or somebody that acquired it from its developer. It has never been free or abandoned, so any use without a properly acquired license is stealing and thus piracy.I'm using this package with a clear conscience because I did buy and use, until now, the Code Factory version of Eloquence, so I have a legitimate license to use it. All this package does for me is allow me to use it without Code Factory's DRM, which I normally wouldn't have a problem with except that it was a slow piece of crap.As far as I can tell, it depends on what it is that is being offered. If I were to offer a cracked or purchased version of a game, you can be pretty sure that my message w ould be immediately deleted and I'd be banned. But I've seen Eloquence pirated here a number of times with no consequences to the person doing it. . I've also seen a purchased version of Pure Basic pirated too, again there were no consequences for the pirater. So I guess that as long as it isn't an audio game from a member of these forums, no problem, pirate away! BTSync seemed stuck, it ran for six hours and didn't download a single byte.After comparing the list of files I got with the Blind Movie Vault, only two files appeared to be something the movie vault didn't have, one of those turned out to be a single episode of a TV show the movie vault already had, and the other wasn't audio described.Pretty disappointing. When I run it, all I get is an apparently blank window. I found a message that said that the program's main window is created using HTML and that to access it I have to get JAWS to focus on it to switch to treating it as a web page. I got curious, so I asked Lee, the guy who manages and maintains the Blind Mice Movie Vault, if there was a specific reason why they use Sendspace over Dropbox. He said that it was because Dropbox monitors who downloads any particular file and when it sees the file being downloaded by too many different people, the file is removed or downloads of it are permanently blocked. Not very appropriate for the Movie Vault. He said this happens regardless of whether the Dropbox account hosting the file is a free or paid account. So, since Sendspace has no such restrictions, several paid accounts are used to host the Movie Vault's files. Actually, long before facebook went public and released its first stock offering, their terms and conditions of use, which you agreed to when you set up your facebook account, was updated to include the declaration that anything and everything you post to your facebook account becomes the property of facebook, and that they can freely use what you posted in any way they see fit, without notifying you of, or compensating you for, that use.While posting that message about not agreeing isn't a scam in that nobody loses any money because of it, it is just you voicing that you don't agree with facebooks terms and conditions, but that is a moot point as long as you continue to use facebook.It goes even deeper in that it became known that when you delete content from your account, it is only flagged as deleted. The menus on most discs are graphic with no mackine readable text tags. Some menu options will be for generic actions such as Play or Set Up, which can be interpreted and the action spoken, but most discs have menu items pointing to other video clips on the disc, such as previews, and those will probably need to be sent to OCR first, then sent to TTS for speaking. I'm just looking to stop the casual hacker from finding my network.I do use WPA2 and a strong, randomly generated pass phrase, made up of upper and lower case letters and numbers.I don't use punctuation because some of them can cause problems, depending on the brand of router you are using. So instead of figuring out what works and what doesn't, I just don't use them.I figure that with 62 characters to choose from for each position in the pass phrase, it's plenty strong enough. As proof, according to How Secure is my Password, my pass phrase would take about 38 billion years to find with a brute force attack. That's about three times longer than the universe is old!---Now I feel dumb! It turns out the "Other" in the list of networks calls up a screen where you can enter the network SSID and pass phrase. I thought is was a heading for other options listed below it. Oh well, now I know.I also learned that while installing the update to iOS 10 may be scheduled for between 2 and 4 AM, downloading it can occur any time the phone is idle and connected to WiFi. So I removed the midnight to 6 AM block, since it wouldn't prevent downloading the update.My phone is primarily a phone, I don't use it to play media, I have a Victor Reader Stream for that, and I don't play games on it either, so most of the time it sits idle, and after a week, it still hasn't redownloaded the iOS 10 update.I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it stays that way, but if I have to delete the downloaded update file every once in a while, that's far more tolerable than being reminded to install the update every day! I'm just looking to stop the casual hacker.I do use WPA2 and a strong, randomly generated pass phrase, made up of upper and lower case letters and numbers.I don't use punctuation because some of them can cause problems, depending on the brand of router you are using. So instead of figuring out what works and what doesn't, I just don't use them.I figure that with 62 characters to choose from for each position in the pass phrase, it's plenty strong enough. As proof, according to How Secure is my Password, my pass phrase would take about 38 billion years to find with a brute force attack. That's about three times longer than the universe is old! What I did was add a couple of ring tones to my phone, then edited each of my contacts, assigning to them one of the two ring tones, one is for family and friends, and the other is for businesses I deal with. When somebody calls, if they are in my contact list, the family or business ring tone will play, if they are not in my contact list, the default ring tone will play, and those I ignore. If it isn't a spam call, they will usually leave a voice mail, so I can call them back, and add the number to my contact list for next time. While it doesn't stop spam calls from ri nging your phone, it does give you an indication of whether you should pick up or not, and other than any ring tones you might buy, it's free. The first was the email client, that's not a problem since I'm using Thunderbird, and except for a couple of problems with no apparent solution, I'm satisfied with it. The problems don't prevent me from using it, they are just annoying. There were some other apps that had to be replaced for accessibility reasons, but I can't recall what they were now.Then I heard that Windows Update wa s removed from the control panel so it's no longer possible to review and approve of updates before they are installed, you are forced to accept all updates offered. This is a serious issue in my eyes, what if you discover an update that screws up your computer? Sure you can use System Restore to back track it out of your system, but you can't prevent it from being installed again.I have that problem now with Internet Explorer, the last cumulative update for it changes the way it handles .URL files. .URL files are the files Internet Explorer creates when you bookmark a web page. Instead of just opening them as it's supposed to do, after the update is installed, Internet Explorer now issues a security warning and asks if you want to open or download the file! Even stranger, this only happens if opening the .URL file also launches Internet Explorer, such as choosing a favorite from the Start menu. But if you choose a favorite from within Internet Explorer through its favorites menu, they open normally. I've found what some called solutions to the problem on the Internet, but they always turn out to be partial solutions, or only work once. In Windows 7 I was able to back out of the update, then in Windows Update, hide the update to prevent it from being installed in the future. With Windows Update gone from the control panel in Windows 10, this wouldn't be possible, you'd be stuck with the faulty update until Microsoft fixes it, assuming they do fix it.And I have no doubt there are other unpleasant surprises waiting. When I don't like any of the candidates offered, I usually write in none of the above, inspired by the movie, Brewster's Millions.This year I might follow several of my friend's leads and write in Mickey Mouse.I prefer the none of the above option because in the tally of the votes, that will show my displeasure with all of the candidates. Of course a vote for Mickey Mouse should do the same thing with a little humor to boot.Unfortunately, most people never stop to consider writing in their vote. Like sheep being lead to slaughter, they just blindly choose one of the options listed, and the rest of us have to live with their choice, good or bad.For years I wished they'd change our voting laws to put a none option on the ballot, and if none winds, they have to rerun the election, but the candidates that just ran would be barred from running again.
