Later this afternoon on the spit, the Iceland Gull made an appearance along

At about noon today, there were two Black-bellied Plovers in breeding
plumage along the south shore at Loloff. Also present were (only) 11
Whimbrel, LB Dowitchers, Avocets, Stilts, etc. Five goslings were toddling

The basic plumage Red Throated Loon was in the north end of the Brush Hollow
SWA from about 1-1:30 PM yesterday, in spite of fishermen and boats. We

The Prothonotary Warbler was still at Centennial Park as of about 11AM. The
bird was found by walking the loop trail around the lake to the northern
side, and was popping in to feed in some chokecherry bushes in a hollow just
below the blue gazebo there. Great find, Art!
