If the forms are similar you could use Form inheritance or Frames to cut
down on the number of different entry points. A master form with all
the entry points and validation, with inherited forms showing different

I've started porting stuff to it, most of the components that we use

I had a friend who wrote a bignums unit for turbo pascal (5.5 I
believe) when we were at school which could handle really really big
numbers. His poor old XT took awhile to calculate some of these crazy
numbers. There will likely be various libraries that you can use.

I've just worked out there are some bugs in the file format, it seems to
be doing something weird with escaping double quotes - so I'll have to
wait until this is fixed - it's in a competitors code, so I'm going to

Yes I've noticed this also, but they had to use databasegear as datagear
was already taken (and doesn't have quite the same ring to it). I'm
going to have to rebrand my website (probably to delphitutor.com)

I believe that native ARM development is (or at least was) being

I used a free version with D2006, but I was having stability problems in

D2006 - 7 was very easy as the .bpls were compatible. I still haven't
upgraded much to D2009/10 except for one half of a client server app,
which I got running on D2009, then converted it to D2010 (with a
firebird back end).
