You want to add the Lotus Notes Mail service to your exchange profile.
After that, it will be kinda like looking at a PST file -you'll see another
little folder when looking at the folder view. Then, you should be able to
just drag and drop from the Lotus folders to the Exchange folders...
Do you still have the Lotus Notes client on the machine? You may have much
better luck adding Notes as a service to your Exchange profile, and then
copying the messages from one place to the other while in Outlook.

It takes a long time, and it takes a lot of tape space. And you know what?
I don't think I have ever heard of anyone ever needing to use one,
especially with deleted item retention. So, why waste time, tape,
bandwidth (assuming you are backing up over a network) and CPU cycles?
I worked with a couple of implentations of UM... It's great for those whom
travel a lot, or those that would rather not pick up a phone or go to a fax
machine -geeks and high level execs and sales critters are good candidates
for it. I have worked with Octel/Lucent, and also the Mitel version.
Also, you will have to reboot if you need to install the BE drivers for
your backup media. Even for 2000, you have to reboot for that part.

You have to defrag the database. But, hard drives are really not all that
expensive -you may want to think about increasing the disk space. In the
meantime, you will use up the white space that was left in the database,
rather than extending the size of your databases.
You would have to add a custom recipient. But, do you really want to do
this? What if he hits the limit on his home account? Then emails start
bouncing... Fowarding off system is not something very well liked here, you
may want to read up on it.

Are you backing up your server? Those logs are what is being written. If
you are backing up the server, and have the log files removed, you won't
see quite so many -there is an option to flush committed logs when
backing up.

You may want to run an online backup, and delete them like that. Or, you
could stop the IS, and that will commit the log files as well. Are you
running out of space? Is that why you need to delete them?

I am wearing my stilletto thigh high boots today... they can do some

I wear higher heels than most. And usually wear a skirt, even though
wearing jeans is perfectly acceptable here. And some would even say I have
a high pitched, near whiny voice.

that is just the start.
*OWA -Running it internally? Depends -do you have non-MS clients? My *nix
and Mac users liked OWA. Travelling users liked it
I'll try to convince Marketing :)

Well, first off, you can scan with more than one engine when using Antigen.
Which means that if one virus pattern hasn't been updated, one of the
others will. Good to fall back on. I can get docs comparing Antigen to
Trend, feel free to contact me offline.
