Hi Jenna,
I have a cat who is at risk for glaucoma, but doesn't have it at this time.
The kind of risk you would be taking would be a lot different than
with an FELV+ cat. Even if she loses the other eye, she should get
around just fine as a blind cat.
I don't see any reason to avoid adopting
their own choice on that, though.
I'm no good at names - I pick my names from a list - unless something
really strikes me about the cat. The adopters usually change the name
anyway to something they prefer.
Where do you live? I might be able to direct you to a s/n resource.

I hide fish mox in meat baby food or tuna. Also, you can get human grade

I am starting to think it would be better for her to be on meds than for her
to be stuck in the bathroom for any longer.
What do yall think?
Thanks,

whatever your vet has
been prescribing. And the capules are 500 mg each so I just divvy it up. I
usuay go for 125 mg daily but it depends on what the problem is and how
severe. There is an acceptable dosage range, not just one specific dose
engraved in stone.

Hi guys,
I am looking for some inexpensive scratching posts. My guys destroy my
scratching posts within a month at most, and they are like $30 at PetSmart.
Thanks,
Kelley

The next brown cat I have will be named Mack Brown, but that doesn't mean
much if you don't live in Texas:)

posts you buy. Once they've scratched the heck out of the top surface I
take that part out and turn it over and let them have at the underside.
You can get at Target, Walmart -- pretty much anywhere.
