Everything has been rebuilt (except OO, and a sun-jdk... but I think I

have decided to go with C++. Is there any bigginer
guides online that you may have run a cross that would
help me get starte
. You have to download a script and run it
first. If you did not, np, just follow the instructions and all will be
good once more.

might help. ifconfig will show what
is going on with your network card. You should never have to restart
your whole computer, sounds like it could be a config, or more likely a
hardware problem.
