Carrying on with the flower pics. I nearly chose another pic, but I
liked the 3D effect in this one. I thought about cropping a bit off
the left due to the bright bits but I was in too much of a hurry to
decide exactly how much to crop.
This may have been covered in one of the seventeen other K10D threads, but I
haven't noticed it yet.
I see the press release says (in relation to SR):

to be the k/f1.2.

that it will only work with manual stop-down metering on the K100D. That
doesn't bother many of us, but some get the shorts in a bind over having to

one has to set the aperture manually and that doesn't bother me too
much. i was hesitating a little because i remember reading somewhere
that the f/1.2 series, though more expensive are not as good optically
as the f/1.4

FA) outperform the K50/1.2, particularly wide open, but that some
users like the K50/1.2's rendering qualities. For that price, if it's

I don't think I'd use it to store an SD card, it seems somewhat
inconvenient. But as storage for my 'always thinking I lost it' IR
remote, it would be great. :-)
