Hello, I suggest you ask your doctor When I had mine done about 20 years ago, they gave me the impression that it COULD close up VERY QUICKLY (minutes) when it's first done. Personally, the only time I I leave my catheter out is when it's being changed with a new one. I'm not sure what you mean by

Hey guys How long can a supra pubic tube be left out before the catheter is difficult to get back in. Doc told me if I ever want to reverse it that all I have to do is remove the catheter and let the hole grow over. Just curious because I like to give my bladder a rest sometimes. Thanks Luke
