Two of my Radios had the problem of loosing connection to the WiFi when
turned off for a longer period of time. The other two did not have the
problem. All the four are running on the Community firmware. I made a
reset to factory settings and the two Radios changed places so they

I recently joined this forum since around the second week of december
2021 I have the same problems with the losing wlan connection of my
squeebox radios.
For over 12years I run 4 SB Radios and 4 SB Touch without any problems
in wlan-modus.

So, after another week with the new installed Fritzbox 4040:
Not one single problem anymore, everything, also the radio, works like a
charm :-)

I just added the wlanpoke scripts to my kitchen SB Radio. Every morning
it greets me with a red network I greet it with a plug pull and

triangle/chevron of inactive plugins hides or unhides that list.

(LMS does not accept UN and PW), but others on the forum have. It may be
a problem with the credentials on the mysb.com server. Michael can

fine with it (running MSB.com)
In a possibly related front, my wife got so sick of having connectivity
problems on a Zoom meeting she hosts that she got Verizon on the phone,

Thank you for bringing this post back to life, great read. I am sure
there are many who worked in tech development (myself included) that
Squeezebox hardware is end of life, living on borrowed time, a gang of
enthusiasts on this forum is trying to keep it running tweaking the
software, there's nothing they can do about the hardware.

I installed the wlanpoke patch yesterday and I am getting much better
reception with almost no buffering. I have not tried the radio outside
where I was having the most difficulty.I am hoping the TPLink extender I
recently purchased will help

After reconnects and loss again and again, i used this "vonets
vap11n-300" wifi adaper. Worked fine (with free discolight effect you
can't deaktivate stupid vonets! And get a little hot so i not cover this
thing) till this adaper one day has deactivate itself and just not

I finally installed now after i found out how easy it is (ofter i found
