New to shattering I am looking at how to separate the chunks for RBD
simulation. I saw some methods on rray.de/xsi and I know Momentum can
simulate it without separating, but being in a bit of a hurry I want to ask

It has been a while since I needed Cage deformers and I am running in to a
weird problem with it today. I have frozen geometry with frozen
translation, pick the cage deformer which is also frozen and translation
zeroed, but when I apply the Cade deformer the deformed object pops to a
very deformed
on it needs resetting.
Check the normals on import maybe some things whacky there.

You will want to go with the Splashy Water preset , and like Olivier says,
it is quite slow, which is also clear from the stats in those videos.
I made a test a while ago to see what could be achieved and stuck with a
fairly small volume of water as I didn't quite have the patience.

it's not that bad.. as far as I know, it's just back to Cory (who took
over after chinny left) full time instead of part

I realize I did not have the version 2.0 of the compound with the normalize
button - I got the version

Pretty cool Alan! So tangency is controlled in the Increment Rotation node
- how would I control the upvector, say with another null?
To better understand how it works, how come it is necessary to key the null
to zero rot and pos for it to work?

I have a sphere I want to render with the built in particle volumetric
shader. Now I need to map the density so it is spherical - imagine the
