We have a Minolta printer which we need to setup in UniVerse as a system-accessible printer. This printer requires an access code. Ideally we'd like to create a file storing access code per login code, and automatically send this code to the printer when that user prints... Anyone got any ideas...

Ah, if only you had asked the list (or check the archives), before you started...someone would've let you know about this 'feature'. Both U2 products have this same feature, IIRC. Lots of others have found out the hard way too. Many have gone the way of connection pools or some other middleware.
