You'd be transferring the video to a PC for editing, so I'd guess you'd just
archive to an external hard drive.

My ultimate goal is to get the video onto my blog and my iphone.
Am I doing this right?

cool, thanks! I meant 640X360... too many numbers that look like
multiplication tables! :-)

That would have given you a letterboxed image in a 640 x 480
I did another test (haven't published it anywhere). This time, I did
everything I mentioned below, but did NOT check the letterbox box. After
exporting, the mp4 video is stretched, and has the black letterbox lines top
and bottom.
Is 640x360 not a standard size or something?

wow - my brain hurts! Seriously though, thanks... I'll check into this
stuff, and see what I can figure out. That's why I love this group - a bunch
of helpful cool people!

- I still have to
get into blip to change the video's copyright to a cc license and then send
the videos to delicious, twitter, and my blog. So maybe I should just do a
second upload to youtube and skip tubemogul? Not sure... but that's what
I've been playing with for awhile, anyway :-)

Rupert... I use a Xacti HD1A and the newest version of FCE, and have no
problems whatsoever with the MP4 files. Just sayin...

Well... aha! Tying
out that I want to use and delete the rest. I'm able to
drag/drop the video file from a folder right into the bin in FCE.
It's FCE 4.0, and it's OSX Leopard (I update it regularly).
Hope that helps!

Is there anything I can do about that? Other than getting some type of

Thanks!
