It depends on what Windows 10 release one is using. The latest builds of 17
and 18 will work reasonably well with Windows 10 Version 1703 (Creators
Update), although for some, audio ducking in JAWS 18 is somewhat broken when
using latest Windows 10 release.

Have you tried turning off the Language detect feature?
While on the page, open quick settings with JawsKey + V, then type Language
into the search box. Down arrow to the feature and make sure it's turned
off. You can turn it back on later if you need it.

Well, according to gmail help, they do support POP3, (Rick's
instructions are from the support page) but it's not the default. You
must go into gmail settings and enable POP3. However, I still maintain
that IMAP is a better option.
