Drive shaft and axles will be the same, unless one's an automatic and one's a stick, then the drive shaft will be different. Diff is most likely the same, given same transmission, except one might be LSD while the other is not. (iS does NOT guarantee LSD, it could be ordered without) Seats are interchangeable. They're not Recaros, by the way, that's just how they're referred to by many people. Right now, I'm selling tires and wheels, which I've collected quite a few of in the past years! Please see this auction on Ebay: http://tinyurl.com/4y8p2 and click on "view other auctions" as well. I will be listing a smattering of other accumulated parts in the coming days. Thanks, --tabe johnson [EMAIL PROTECTED] Vancouver, BC Former E30 owner. The glass must be removed to replace the clips. You will do no harm (other than embarrassing other BMW owners) by leaving the trim off. Alternately, you could have a windshield company goober it back on with their urethane. The person that has to replace that rear window will want to kill you for it though....... Thet give a better idea of a high performance oil vs. a fuel economy oil. In Mobil 1, only the 0W-40 and 15W-50 meed ACEA A3. Also, there are certain MB and Porsche requirements. I recommend Mobil 1 0W-40 for nearly everything except high performance engines with large clearances, then 15W-50 is better. Other oils are excellent also. For an old clumker use diesel oil such as Shell Rotella or Mobil Delvac. Here is some detail: A2-96 Issue 3 Standard gasoline category. For operation with normal change intervals and loads, requirements unchanged since 1996. A3-02 Stable viscosity (stay in grade) category with stricter requirements. For high-power engines with long oil change intervals approved by the manufacturer. A1-02 Energy-saving, catalyzer-friendly category with stricter requirements. Developed especially for low-friction engines, low viscosity (2.9 mPas < HTHS < 3.5 mPas) engine oil. Not for use with certain engine types. A4 -xx Category to be introduced for gasoline direct injection Otto engines with lean-mixture operating capability. A5-02 Energy-saving, stable viscosity (stay in grade) category with stricter requirements. Developed especially for high specific power engines operating with low friction, low viscosity (2.9 mPas < HTHS < 3.5 mPas) engine oil. Suitable for long oil change intervals approved by the manufacturer. Not for use with certain engine types. Gary Derian --- Steve Tymoszuk <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Ooops... It was simple. When I was assembling intake duct after changing CPS - I didn't seat intake silencer properly and had vacuum leak there. You most likely have an air leak, probably from the intake gaskets. I'd suggest resealing the intake and replacing the cyclonic plate at the rear of the manifold. If you are re-using the joints, apply a large lever to place tension on the ball joint, then wack the boss that contains the taper. The joint will pop out. Aim carefully! Too little? To much? Is it just the results of running a supercharger for 70k miles. I will have the head pressure tested and checked out this week.
