Hi there Peter here,

How is your day going? Thanks for all the e mails on a variety of subjects….As
you know I upset the caravan owners on Monday and I have been so worried that I
have not slept a wink since!!!!!!! Do I never learn? At least I have had some
support-one letter from Katy says. I've not set foot in a caravan for at least
14 years and have no plans to do so again, she goes on to say that the
programme Top Gear regularly demolishes caravans, they have the right idea. Not
my words. Anyway subject closed now. I hope.

TONIGHT AT 6 30
==============
As well as the day’s news and weather tonight a true superstar is in Skegness.
Grammy Award winning Dionne Warwick will be talking to us on the show just
before she starts her concert. It’s her last ever UK tour and it’s hard to
believe that Dionne is in Skeggy. By the way her song Heartbreaker is one of my
all time favourites.
Also tonight if you have had a problem in getting a doctors appointment then
something of interest this evening at the usual time of 6 30.

IDEAS
=====
Any ideas or suggestions for the LL would be appreciated. I had one today from
a Mr S Baker who is suggesting that I include some events before they happen
rather than talk about them afterwards. He was prompted after I had been saying
how good the sea shanty festival was and he knew nothing about it until I wrote
about it.
Anything coming up that is worth a mention then e mail me direct at [EMAIL
PROTECTED] and I will include it.

LEAVE IT TO LEVY
===============
Don’t forget any problems that you have or if anyone you know has then do get
in touch and we may be able to take them on in Leave it to Levy. Please give me
as much detail as possible about the problem and a phone number as well.

SURVEYS WE LIKE
================
A survey is out on the cake we like best in our region….again it’s hard to
believe that this is someone's job!!!! The survey found that the cake of
choice in East Yorkshire and Lincolnshire is chocolate, followed by cheesecake,
with fruitcake in third place. Jenny Hill is using this survey as an excuse to
go out and do her own research…….no surprises there then…….answers at 6 3O.

MONEY
======
There’s good news if you're bad with money now you can blame someone else!! One
in four children apparently gets no financial education from their
parents-which means that many of us struggle to do our budget sums in later
life. Talking of money still more e mails this morning from boat owners telling
me that they are a constant drain on the pocket. I have to say that the e mails
on the cost of having a boat I think have scared me off. I was only looking at
a cheap second-hand one but maybe I should think again.

CRICKET
=======
I won’t get much joy out of Paul over the next few days as he loves the
cricket. A win or a draw in the fifth test would be enough to deliver the first
series victory over Australia for 18 years……certainly put to shame the
footballers who limped to defeat against Northern Ireland last night……I don’t
do sport as you know but I have had e mails already on the cricket and last
night’s football so thought I would give it a mention in today’s Levy Letter.
Anyway good luck to England for the next 5 nail biting days.

SUDOKU
=======
I got on to this two weeks ago and it’s one that won’t go away. It seems that
just about everyone is hooked on doing it apart from me……..and I am even being
lobbied by people now….so much so that a friend bought me a Sudoku book for my
birthday. I am simply not bright enough or patient enough to do it. If you’re a
fan I shall be talking to the one and only Carol Vorderman on the show in the
next few weeks. And according to one of today’s papers puzzles involving words
and numbers like Sudoku are just as important as keeping fit and thinking young
in the battle to retain eternal youth. OK now I have read that I shall get to
that Sudoku book as soon as I can.

WRITE WHEN YOU LIKE
====================
Just the usual reminder that you or anyone you know can drop me a line directly
anytime you like to [EMAIL PROTECTED]

FINALLY
=======
Tomorrow in the LL a competition which is only for readers of this letter with
the chance of winning tickets to see the hit musical Blood Brothers. So if
there is anyone you know who would like to go to see them then get them to sign
up to the LL letter today at the address below.

Have a good day- see you at 6 30

Peter
