You can install the 64-bit client, just make sure you install the optional 32-bit libs. Remedy is written to use the OCI libs for communication to the db. Since it was compiled using the 32-bit libs, that's what it needs to run. sqlplus, netca, etc. are all just junk to Remedy. You may also wa

Solaris 10 for x86 is available on the sun web site. You can run native Sun Solaris vs linux and probably have fewer issues than trying to install remedy on linux. Solaris rocks on x86 machines. And yes you can install the Oracle Client 10g 32 bit on a 64 bit machine under Solaris. Solaris 10
