Try removing the licenses from their people form record and then add the users back in. You could also try adding more user licenses temporarily. Once you get the users back in you could remove the extra licenses. -Original Message- From: Action Request System discussion list(ARSList)

Re: Modifying Field 112

I would be careful with modifying field 1 on the OOB stuff. Validate that your workflow is setting field 112 to what you want and that field Vendor Assignee Group is blank. Also, check your execution order on your workflow. The other thing you want to make sure is that people do not have

Re: Adding a value to Incident Type field

2013-01-02 Thread Brian Pancia
I've had a lot of people make this request. The Incident Type doesn't fit what most organizations would like to use it for, or is very limited. You can always create a new field and hide the Incident Type field. Depending on what the customer is looking to use the field for you can probably

2013-01-02 Thread Brian Pancia
Angus, Are you looking to just use a standard header for all your forms? You can change the header on the forms. You can also use style sheets to add more robust bells and whistles. If you're looking for more of a landing page or overview type of console than view fields would work too.

Re: Upgrade ARS 7.1 to ARS 7.6.04 SP4 - UNICODE issue

2013-02-12 Thread Brian Pancia
As Misi stated RRRChive will do the conversion. Can you add a ARSYSTEM2 database to your dev environment? If so, you may want to do this and use RRRChive. Once ARSYSTEM2 is at the proper coding you can then run a synctotarget with prod and the new db in case your dev db is not synced with prod.

Re: Multiple Group vs Company Access

2013-02-16 Thread Brian Pancia
Multitenancy is the best route to take. You could setup a support org and create a filter that locks the assignee group field down to that support org if you don't want to use multitenancy. Keep in mind that when locking down field 112 that the ticket is modified a few times once the ticket
