If all you see is "Quick Search" on the bottom, it means the bar is there, but
hasn't got room to expand. You need to right click your toolbar and unlock it.
Then expand the Quick Search toolbar by clicking on the pebbled vertical bar to
the left of Quick Search and dragging it to the left to ex

pre-pending of Q to the number causes a failure. I looked at the XML, but I

You don't specify which version of DQSD you're using. If you're using
the latest RC3 Build, which you should be on Vista, you need to
completely uninstall all previous versions before installing DQSD.
I'm still DQSD-less, since I've been waiting until we have an RTM
version before asking someone
It's all about binary arithmetic. Spreadsheets have traditionally had this same
issue. There are workarounds for it, but there's a substantial performance
penalty and in most cases it's simply not enough to worry about. The number is
always only off by one bit at the limit of your precision.

Yes, my localsearch was empty before I started. The one thing that simply would
NOT change in theme.css was the >> on the button. It stayed doggedly black,
which doesn't work on a very dark grey background.
