Oh Ouch!! Was not aware that they could not work on that lens. Talked with a
tec about a yr ago when I joined CPS and asked if they could do a CLS on it,
He said it was a pricy glass to work on but to send it in and get a quote.

BTW now that Nikon has one in VR 200 f2 I would think that Canon would
reintroduce the lens. Was very popular with the fashion world. I love it for
portrait work and great for candids at weddings-great for kidnapping faces.
Use a 580ex in the shoe and you get great faces.

If you look carefully. He must have stuck in head to cast
a round shadow in the window light at the 6 o'clock position
in the frame
Julian: I spoke with Robert this morning, he said the shadows were created
by
the available light--movement from the 1/2 second exposure. The only
Flash used was that unit built into the camera.I'll post his
reponce when I have his permission to do so.

I have a Rebel S with my biggest lens a 75-300 f5.6.
Next week I will be taking my family to Cape Cod and hope to get out on a
whale watching boat.
