cat for many many years & vet said it was due to not being
treated for URI's. They said they could do surgery & clear out the scar tissue,
but it might come back, so I opted not to do it. She always sounded like she
had a URI, but she didn't.

If you are worried about about fighting & transferring the FIV, you can have
the FIV cat's canines filed down to prevent deep bite wounds & minimize chance
of passing the FIV.

The local vet's euthanisia was really ugly. It happens. ( I thought it would be
easier for her rather than riding for 45 minutes). The local vet was no
stranger to her.
She had had fluids the previous 3 Saturdays. Our usual vet was not a

BreAnne is just short of 2 yoa; spayed. She was the playmate of ToriRose who
succumbed to Fe leukemia 2.2010. BreAnne tested + at that time. Isaac left
2.2011. I gathered everyone else up and moved them into my apartment from the
country when Isaac left. BreAnne was/is an assertive female.

Leona Jean is the FIV female who came to my patio on Thanksgiving Day. I have
written of her before and was graciously advised to check out the FIV group.
Her upper respiratory symptoms are back - - the worst since she presented.

Isaac would have been 3 years young on 4.14. He tested positive along with 4
others of my inner circle of seven on 3.1.2010. I did not test further but put
efforts into food and supplements.
Isaac was big (not fat) black, neutered and active and appeared healthy and
aggravated Scrumptious
Laura Jean came to my patio on Thanksgiving Day with bulging flanks, goopy eyes
and respiration issues.
Rescue friends offered antibiotics.
She tested positive for feline AIDS at a vet. SHE IS SWEET!!. I cannot afford
imaging and lab work , . . .

Our expendable dollars were spent in euthanizing a young sweetie in February
and SNAP tests for 7 cats on March 1. Five cats tested positive. We have not
done any blood work since my pockets are empty. I watch nose and gum color.
The vet saw Pookashay in May. I had made an appointment to
vet told me that it had been discontinued.
what do you recommend instead?
