actually the safest stuff to buy is a non branded system.
We have a couple an amd and an intel.
Both of these were got all in pieces and put together by a tech we know it

There are loads of linuxes and the main reason we don't see much in the way of
viruses so much is that the updates come out faster maybe and less time for

look at www.bloodshed.net you can get dev pascal and dev c maybe c++ not sure.
some of this is a frontend to compilers but you only need to get commandline
