That always doesn't cut it though, as there are semi-popular servers
using *Fake-Client* plugins/extensions to fill their servers up. Then
again, that doesn't really have much to do with the topic at hand, I
highly doubt it would ever make it's way to Counter-Strike 1.6. Look

They've been saying it for years Clad, NAT solved a lot of home consumer
issues, and has helped stave off the inevitable. On one of the servers that
I help maintain, 12 IP addresses were assigned to it for a measly $1.42USD a
month.
However, none of this is related to Valve, nor the *thread* |

Thank you,

Actually, from what I can recall. You cannot make an Aimbot with LSS in it's
current public state. Sure there are trigger bots which are close, however
you cannot actually make an Aimbot. The rest rely on cvar exploitation,
which hopefully VAC will catch onto since it is an external application.
At the moment, this is not the case Harry. Using the valve.rc method, no
client plugins can be prevented from being loaded. LSS can force cvars to be
whatever the client chooses them to be (Just like SourceMod, or any other
plugin for that matter). This is including mat_wireframe (or whatever the
The new lines on status have really been bothering me since the OrangeBox
update on CS:S. It looks absolutely retarded and is counter-productive if
you want to actually extract any useful information.

Which memory leak to be specific? It's hard to get it to happen, however to
a certain extent the memory leak with setting a clients listening flags
still exists in the OrangeBox engine that was there from Episode 1. I
thought it had dissappeared,
Thank you for the heads up Jason.

I noticed a while ago that the bans include a space in the IP address,
making their enforcement invalid, and therefore nulled. At least this was
the case with local addresses (192.168.0.250). Has this since been rectified
in an update? I haven't seen anything change *rcon* related yet so I'm
ext4 here as well, seems pretty solid.

Lets add: 64-bit support, better instruction set utilization,

Sure the game has multiple threads (EP1 had four?). However, there's one
main work thread, which is a complete whore CPU wise. This is a common
misconception that people have about the engine, from my understanding

Well, let me start off by saying I was wrong. Looking at an old Episode One
backtrace I see that it only had two threads. I've fired up an OrangeBox
Counter-Strike: Source server. Here are the threads:
