I've never been able to get that crazy inaccessible Flash to update, but
could not locate anything about minite on the jaws-users site or either
Google or BING searches. The searches kept referring me to everything
'minute' instead. What do I have wrong that I cannot find it? Thanks.

With latest JAWS, XP Pro and latest iTunes- not having the problem you
described. Perhaps you should try the full download if you used the 'check
for updates' thing instead.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Adobe Reader X JAWS 12
Dear List,
With the above
Have you tried changing the document reading mode to see what difference
that makes? I often change it from the let Adobe figure it out option to
'left to right, top to bottom' and get a better result. Good luck!

Dear List,
With the above combination, JAWS often goes silent when I open a doc for the
first time; and I have to close Adobe and start over. I'm not sure whether
Adobe is freezing or whether JAWS is doing so. Perhaps the 'X' in Adobe
Reader X stands for experimental ;)
Can anyone share
Don't think JAWS9 supports IE8- and if that's correct, it could explain your
problem.

Doris- So you think that disabling the Skype toolbars is not the same as not
installing them in the first place, right? I was not sure what they were
used for in the first place and therefore was not sure if I would mess up
Skype even by just disabling them. Good to hear that you aren't
available.
With best regards,
Adi.
