Will this bug be solved in 1.6 ? Stopping/restarting the spellchecker
is an effective workaround, but it's quite boring.

(full install + englidh and french dicts), but the spellchecker fails
with a message No word list found for language "en" (or "fr").

by tex2lyx. I changed the make_tex2lyx_dist.sh script
in the wiki to reflect this.
I uploaded an up to date Solaris SPARC version,

I found this new feature very useful to upgrade the French manual
Customization.lyx from 1.6 to 2.0. There were a lot of distributed changes
(editions and new layout declarations), and creating a diff between the original
1.6 and 2.0 English versions helped me a lot to locate changes. M

If I open Tools>Preferences>Editing>Shortcuts with LyX French localization, and
search for 'break-paragraph' shortcuts, I find that 'Return' is translated as
'Retour'.
This is bad because it is translated in the docs by 'Entrée', which is better
IMHO. Where are these strings translate

The string "New" appears in po files both for branches and indexes.
In French, the gender of the translation differs, so I need à [[...]] marker to
be able to distinguish the two occurrences of the string.

- create a short file with plain text into it;
- open lyx-2.0.2;
- open a new file
- perform Insert>File>Plain text...
You should get it...

A French user tells me privately that he finds a big memeory leak in LyX-2.0.2
on an Archlinux LyX distribution (about 1.5Mo/mn).
On my Debian Squeeze and a simple document, I find about 1.7ko/mn.
Testing with the Userguide, I find around 19ko/mn with the following recipe:

Me neither with lyx-2.0.6 on Wheezy, nor even with 1.6.10.
Might this have been a regression in the early lyx-2.0.x versions ?
