No. However, the engine harness won't last as well as the 1970s
ones. Wires exposed to heat and oil will loose their insulation --
this is worst up at the front of the engine.

were about fundamentals of engine design and operation, not about
anything specific on a car. I did have some issues with the idea that
anything the dokor said was gold, never to be questioned. But he did

I just dug out the old catalog. I can't see a print date on it, but it
contains a few pages for the W201, so that would probably put it about '84
