current MLO version correctly. The "Zoom-in"/"Zoom-out" Buttons on Windows
should move one level at a time. If I am zoomed in 2-3 levels and want to
zoom out one level it seems less intuitive to zoom out all the way.

the view, yes the "set as default" option is greyed-out as you are still in
the default view. Your assessement is correct in that you'd have to make a
new formal view then save it as the new default for that

I did a similar thing by tracking how many accomplishments I did each day.
Then, each day I tried to up the previous days’ record. Here’s how I did it:
1. For those tasks I want to record as accomplishments, I checked
“completed copy”
2. I created a view for tasks completed
Once you label something as a view group, you can drag other views into it. I

I believe it all comes down to what one wants from the export/in Excel.
The XML of the TaskTree is relatively easy to decipher and analyse as the
structure is quite clear.
Using VBA (Excel/MS Office programming language) you could import the MLO
XML file and do stuff to the data.

I create contexts called 0800, 0900, 1000, 1100, and so on. Each represents
